IRON HOUSE HAS CREATIVE BEINGS

We have clever and creative beings at Iron House. Yas and Andrew Imamura created this with their vaulted space at Iron House Lake Oswego.

Yas and Andrew...The creative duo

I plan to put it up on the blog soon--but the instructions are pretty simple. Just buy a bunch of pipes (mine were the 12inch height /2inch diameter ones) and make sure you get the matching-size disc flanges for em. I spray painted the normal galvanized ones, black. Much better than buying the actual "black" ones because it's actually coated and kind of comes off and gets on your hands.
Sharpie the nails black too. lol. Just screw in the flanges to the wood, attach the pipe to it, attach another flange on the other end of it and screw it in on the wood--that kinda deal!
There's a ton of ways you can do this kind of shelving. Just google pipe shelving. People have gone really creative on it, using those curved pipes and stuff. I obviously went a much simpler route for now with just a one level shelf. ~ Yas Imamura
